Its not like companies to release major updates to existing products via their social networking space, but that is exactly what Asus has done witrh the new 1000HE ("e" standing for extended).The 10-inch netbook comes with a a LED backlit screen and a new chicklet keyboard as well as 802.11N WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. HDD is 160GB and if that is not enough for your extensive video collection, Asus gives you another 10GB of online storage.
The same old 1.66GHz Atom N280 processor is running the show but you also get that extended battery that Asus claims is good for 30 minutes less than 10 hours. If you happen to be their friends on Facebook than you can pick one up with a 425 discount off the regular price of $399.
