DEANNE CHEUK INSPIRON MINI DESIGNER NETBOOK AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

Desinger netbooks aren’t necessarily known for their capabilities, but there is still a market for them. Much like the Vivienne Tam editions released by HP, Dell has released a limited edition Inspiron Mini designed by Deanne Cheuk. The netbook doesn’t have any fancy specs: it is the regular netbook fare.

The Deanne Cheuk Inspiron Mini is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor with integrated Intel GMA 500 processor. It has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 160GB SATA hard disk drive. The netbook has a 10 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels. The only available connectivity option is 802.11 b/g wireless. There is also an HDMI port for transferring video to an external monitor.

Each system in the series will be individually numbered. They are now available at Best Buy for $379.99. The Limited Edition Inspiron Mini runs Windows 7 Starter edition.
